The company I bought off is pretty big practically nation-wide...(and its a wide nation)Was going to suggest he had wobbled the delivery; the delivery/distribution systems in the UK are witchcraft, but also very fragile.

But the delivery Co. was one I've never heard of - no txt follow up...your parcel has been delivered etc. which is unusual too
Probably small because they're crap...or is it the other way around
Like many jobs, there's always a lot more to them than you think. If you didnt have the text, chances are your parcel "fell out"of the system somehow. Could have been given to another driver, had a damaged bar code, literally anything could make it happen. There is also the chance the original delivery company were above their Peak levels, and got some smaller company in to take up some slack.
When I learnt more about it, the sheer numbers involved and the actual system, I was astonished that so many were delivered correctly!
The system showed how clever it is during early covid days in the UK. They managed to trace 1 of 20 possible new cases of a variant by tracing the delivery times/dates/addresses from the test deliveries. Out of millions.
That’s really bad news. The laws are totally outdated. Bet even the police weren’t arsed with it allNot really a minor thing, but I got nicked today for having weed on me, got to do some stupid drugs course which I have to pay for and now I won't sleep tonight (that's all I use it for) so will probably have a seizure at some point over the weekend due to lack of sleep.
One guy was an utter nob and was hyper aggressive and had me up against the wall until a colleague told him to back away, but the guy who dealt with all my details and gave me a lecture and all that was proper sound, I explained to him exactly why I had it and what I use it for and he even said about how can I not get it on one of those medical prescriptions (have tried but the monthly cost is way beyond what I can afford)That’s really bad news. I could be teaching my granny to suck eggs but, have you looked at buying a pre-paid prescription certificate ?One guy was an utter nob and was hyper aggressive and had me up against the wall until a colleague told him to back away, but the guy who dealt with all my details and gave me a lecture and all that was proper sound, I explained to him exactly why I had it and what I use it for and he even said about how can I not get it on one of those medical prescriptions (have tried but the monthly cost is way beyond what I can afford)
yeah I already have one for my seizure meds, the ones for weed are slightly different and cost about £2000 a month! It can also only be done by a specialist doctor/hospital and in terms of Epilepsy, they normally only give it to these kids who have rare forms, I have what is called Myoclonic Epilepsy which is fairly common but it's also known to be one of the most random and disruptive as there is no real pattern with it. I can not have one for months or have a few in a week, it's not like these kids who have 10 a day so they kind of know where they are at. Myoclonic is very unpredictable and can make things quite awkward at times for me.I could be teaching my granny to suck eggs but, have you looked at buying a pre-paid prescription certificate ?
NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) | NHSBSA
A PPC could save you money if you pay for your NHS prescriptions. The certificate covers all your NHS prescriptions for a set price. You will save money if you need more than 3 items in 3 months, or 11 items in 12 months. The prescription charge in England is £9.90. A PPC costs:www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk
Fuming we didn’t do this quickly enough recently.I could be teaching my granny to suck eggs but, have you looked at buying a pre-paid prescription certificate ?

Yeah it was at Fratton station mate, I walked over the bridge and there was about 40 officers and 3 dogs and they were stopping and searching folk, as soon as I saw them I went to walk up the road and these 2 saw me and sprinted over and started giving it all the "oh I notice you looking at the dogs (I did'nt actually) and then walked away, why was that?" I was a bit cheeky to start with tbh (which is why 1 of them put me against the wall) but then I just ended up being honest with them as I could be bothered and just wanted to go home by that point.Fuming we didn’t do this quickly enough recently.
Would have paid for itself within 6 weeks.
And as for @Simon Buttle your bloody unlucky if Hampshire Police have nicked you for that !
