Minor things that make you happy

I made my long overdue first trip to Fabric last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great club and ridiculously good 360 degree surround sound on the dance floor. I've missed going to proper clubs where the set up is nearly always spot on. Sometimes you go to these mixed use venues and they don't get it quite right.

My mate became a grandfather for the first time today. That made me happy. Mum and baby doing well. Grandpa chuffed to bits.

It always makes me laugh when Labour start talking about enfranchising younger voters. We held a mock election in the prep school - all three local candidates actually came and spoke to the assembled children - and the "result" was a landslide tory victory. The proposal to levy 20% VAT on fees is not exactly going to win much support in a prep school though.
