In work today I managed to catch a snide dirty purse snatcher who had been targeting old ladies for a few days.
Whilst I was able to hand one purse back quickly to its owner once the police arrived, the snide also had a mobile phone and case with another ladies bank cards on her.
The phone eventually rang.. Ringtone starts... "when you walk, through a storm.."
Bizzie cracks up, knowing I'm a blue.
Scouse voice on the phone, and all explained to her and collection arranged. ( this is in Hampshire btw )
When the lady and her family arrive, we start to joke about her ringtone "I'm an evertonian, my grandson thought it was dead funny to set that as my ringtone ! "
Today was a good day.

Jeremy finally got his happy (ish) ending
https://whyevolutionistrue.wordpres...handed-snail-finally-mates-and-then-dies/amp/
On September 21 I put up a post about a rare left-handed mutant of the garden snail, Cornu aspersa, named Jeremy. (That post explains why snails of only identical coiling can mate, due to their hermaphroditism and the position in which they copulate.) Nearly all garden snails (and 90% of all snail species) have right-handed coiling, but Jeremy, a one-in-a-million variant, is prized by snail collectors; he also could have started a new species of lefties that was reproductively isolated from right-handed snails.

University of Nottingham inquiries led to the donation of two other lefties: “Lefty” and “Tomeu”. Sadly for Jeremy, they gave him (or rather it, since these snails are hermaphrodites) the cold shoulder, ignored him, and mated with each other. Well, that’s good for producing a left-handed race, but not good for Jeremy’s libido.

However, all’s well that ends well, and, as NPR reports, Jeremy finally copulated with another lefty. And then he died.

No more social plans for the next few months.

Love socialising but i definitely started to feel a bit down/anxious the day or so, hopefully a few quieter months will help that.
