Minor things that make you happy

It must have been that time of the year for HMRC as yesterday I also received notice from them that to date this year, I have underpaid and they will be altering my codes accordingly.
As ever though, considering from April when the new tax year started, my income has been exactly as forecast, and they are using the codes they told me were needed in order for me to meet my tax commitments.
Can never work that lot out.

You know what mate, this is the seventh year on the bounce I've overpaid. . And they tell me they'll adjust my code accordingly, but never do. Not complaining though, always a nice surprise when they haven't done what they promised.

Pretty speechless tbh, so she’s basically saying she daringly eaten a meal with the poor and getting a lot of similar reactions from Tory Britain.

Its £5 for a pint and burger no one expects it to be glamorous.

I know, it's crazy. I mean, I often eat their food but is completely acceptable for the price point etc.

I love the food as a guilty pleasure, as in I know it’s mostly microwaved etc but she’s just trying to make out to everyone she’s middle class and to cover her social insecurities.

Can’t beat a Wetherspoons breakfast when hungover at 9am sat with a pint amongst all the early morning drinkers . Then try and stay there til it’s time for steak club

I can't think of anywhere better for a breakfast - and a large mixed grill.

Might try and sleep with the journalist then in the morning suggest a trip to spoon for a breakie.

He then takes it up.. and he only goes and bloody makes it for me dosent he !!

Some tit at the petrol station this morning decided to take 2 pumps worth of space and wasn’t even getting any fuel. So I went out of my way to pull in front of him and block him in. I was only going to put £20 or so in but decided to fill the tank right up to the top just to make him wait. Felt good.
