Minor things that make you happy

When you ask the amazon Alexa thing to "Play Harry and the Gondolas on spotify", and if by magic, my lads band new EP springs into life!

Proper good as well, but kinda strange hearing your kids band on Amazon.

I feel like Mr McCartney probably did.

@davek

New one out mate. Attracting decent crowds to gigs in London as well. Touring Canada this summer.

Really? Cheers mate. They arent too shabby are they? My lad plays keyboards, but they have known each other since they were like 4.

I have to admit, the musical bent in my family is firmly on their Dads side. Not so much me, but my Mum and Gran did stuff with Liverpool Philly back in the day.

I’m lucky I get to listen to music about 8/9 hours per day when I’m working, it helps me focus on what I’m reading. There is a definite market for that folky style and of course Ed Sheeran owns the charts via acoustic led songs.

A hard industry to crack and all that but they certainly have a chance and I’ll be looking out for them.

Thanks mate. Thats lovely. They have a new one out on Amazon/Spotify. I wont link it cos that taking the rise really, but google is your friend.

Do a search Doc, they are actually pretty good. They toured, well, tour is probably stretching it, Belgium last autumn. @davek is a fan.

No Country For Old Men is nice, looks like they had fun with the video. Their sound reminds me a little of Rumour Said Fire and another neo-folk band that had a big hit coupla years back, name escapes me now. It's a happening scene, they'll hopefully have festival gigs coming up :)
