Minor things that make you happy

Not so minor, but bought my first house a few weeks ago.

Me and the missus work a lot, so last night was our first full night in together.

Made a nice meal and chilled on the new sofa with a beer. Bliss

Took the youngest off to college this week - now he's 700 miles away in Montana - books are purchased, "all you can eat" meal plan in place, tuition paid.

And 30 condoms hidden in a drawer......that he found this morning.....

The lad booked a long weekend on the Gold Coast ages ago, so we said we'd meet him there.
Up in Queensland were I am on the coast we haven't had a drop of rain for 4 or 5 months
Some inland havent had rain for 4 or 5 yrs
Anyway, the weather men have been forcasting a biblical down pour for this weekend...typical...no rain for 5mths then the one week etc etc.

It didnt happen - had a good day

Christmas nearly being over. The gym is well less packed because the ones who only go because they want to get skinny for holiday have abandoned it now.
