Double yolk eggs.

Opposite to the Police College...The Greenhill Rd side, there used to be a guy who kept Hens for eggs, not a big enterprise, but big enough he made a living out of it size...they built a couple of houses on it size site.
I used to get sent for a dozen eggs as and when required. One day I brought home a box of 12 eggs
Every one was a double yolker

My auntie used to get all her eggs off him !

I think the original farm building is still there, but is now a house. The rest is houses - Holly Close ?

Theres 2 little cul de sacs, Greenfield Way and Appleyard Close, nowt to do with chickens or eggs. Don't suppose they'd call it chicken [Poor language removed] court, not a big seller
Anything with Holly in it would be by the Southern Parkway thing on the site of the old S. Liverpool ground, Holly park, which in turn was named after Holly farm.
