My son is funny in that way though, the hat is great but flashing school shoes and he doesnt give a damn! Had to stop him taking a superman suit as a P.E kit in today, was walking out the house with it and it was only at the point of 'i dont remember packing your kit today'....haha

Part of me wanted him to take it just so it would take his teacher laugh when he took it out the bag.

Proper made me smile that. I can remember my eldest lad going to bed dressed in various super heroe outfits when he was about five, with full muscle padding and everything. Now he spends most of his waking hours in his bed room swearing profoundly as he plays X Box live with his mates. Make the most of it, doesn't last forever !.

Last week in work the new director was walking around site. I was talking to one of the forklift drivers and the new director came up and introduced himself to said forklift driver, as they hadn't met yet. After a brief conversation the director, a 6 foot 5 man mountain with hands the size of shovels, held out his fist and said "respect" to the forklift driver, who then fist bumped each other. Proper surreal it was. Seems like a nice chap though, unlike the previous director who was an utter see you en tea.

Being a site whatever you are, how much of a massive balls up would it be if a site agent were to green light 3 houses to get built...in the wrong place.

I dread to think. It causes enough grief when someone tries to bring a delivery on site that hasn't been booked in!
