Went back to see my parents for the weekend and got my car MOT and service done too. The local garage pick up your car for you and drop it back. Great service. Car passed besides advisories on the two front tyres so I changed them anyway.

Had a good couple of days. My feet are a mess after playing football till I was 40. Haven't been able to reach my toenails to sort them, for ages. Went to the Chiropodist training centre yesterday where they provide a service for free. Got all my problems sorted, they were brilliant. They have a voluntary donation system and I donated generously. Walking now is like walking on air. Today, I went to the dentist for a check-up, Brilliant he said, nothing to do.

Last night around 10.50 mrs chrismpw tripped over one of her own booby traps (things she leaves lying about the place to trip me) and clattered to the floor.

After dutifully running to her aid and making sure she was alright (I'm not the monster some on here assume) I quipped that a seismograph somewhere had probably picked up the event (ok perhaps I am).

Then THIS appears in my news feed this morning only 50 or so miles away. lol lol lol lol lol

Started the day celebrating the birthday of my youngest, then watched the Everton match, and helped set up Christmas at a local shelter. One of those boss days (ala via the late, great Jim Valvano) where there was laughter, tears (today of joy), and deep thought

Heard from the Blood Transfusion Service that my latest donation went to the neo-natal unit in Leeds and was used in a successful heart op on an infant child.
