Indeed today was another kick in the rear end for Carlton. But the blues have been rubbish for the past 20 years. So you get used to it! The salary cap and the draft ruined everything. Things were so much easier during the brown paper bags era. lol
 
Roast shoulder of lamb, mint sauce (real mint), veg etc, cos that was the first thing Mrs R asked for when she woke up this morning, in the oven.

And, saw both my lads when they visited/were fed by, their grandparents, at lunchtime, (first time in 6 months I have seen both of them), and they are both sound as.

Then a triffic 20 20 match on BBC.

Later, 2 hours of wallpaper TV with some 25 bestist TV detectives programme on.

I mean, come on, thats a great day.
 

Saw one of those Happy Birthday bedsheets draped over a footbridge earlier today.
On it was the name of the birthday boy who it was by all accounts celebrating his 21th.

Sorry for late reply buddy, early rising to tend to hound and all that goes with it means an early bed for me.
He is coming on nicely. Having a bit of bother getting him to walk with a lead, but he is a real fanny magnet once I take him out.
Lots of nice ladies who would never stop and speak swarm around him.
 
@Bishop Thumpety-Thump and @Sinski I think all Carlton and Collingwood fans are delighting in Essendons misery! It's 16 going on 17 years since the Bombers last won a finals game!Ha ha ha seeing their club legends attacking the club in the media.lol The pies are Carltons traditional and time honoured enemy, but the rivalry with Essendon is a lot more bitter and nasty imo.

Essendons rivalry with us I guess is more recent as in the 30 or 40 years since we both have big fan bases. Collingwood and Carltons goes back to the very beginning. Yeah good to see them falter as I know alot of Essendon fans.
 
needed a heavy duty puller to remove the rear hub of my car, the standard one I have just not up to it. Wait patiently scouring Facebook marketplace and ebay. Then one pops up a tenner! Off I fly, transaction complete. Shes an enormous beauty of venerable age. Do a bit of research - its an old snap-on that they still make - new cost over £600.

A tenner!!! :dance::dance::celebrate:

Now I can properly pull.
