Having my second hot bath in the last 24 hours. The plumbers (two of them!) have finally sorted out the rampant idiocy that is the hot water system in our house... It's taken them three full days, but considering we had no pressure for nearly a month I'm just pleased with the end result.

Picnic in the garden with my son and his family. Haven’t seen my grandkids (4 &1) since Christmas Eve. Blooming marvellous. ( Now knackered though.)

Went to my daughters to trim the hedges, dinner in the garden then walk with their dog, loved it.

Daughter no. 1 came down from London yesterday. She brought a load of goodies, pies, sausage rolls, crisps, cream cakes and a nice bottle of wine. She also did a load of jobs for us, never stops. She also took her indoors out for a trip to the shops. We are very lucky to have two daughters who really look after us.
Her indoors can't do much now due to really bad arthritis. Due to neck problems (football injury and car crash whiplash) I can't do anything which is above head height and knee trouble (football again) prevents me from doing anything which entails bending down. Can eat my dinner OK though. lol

Sorry, they are far too clean to be fresh eggs. Your neighbour is buying eggs, reboxing them and giving them to you.

Hahaha, nope they are indeed from their chickens, they just flipped them to the clean side the bottom looks filthier.
