Minor things that make you happy


Going to bed with freshly cleaned sheets.

Those few minutes when your cuppa tea is at that optimal temperature.

The sound of rain.
 
Was late for something yesterday and had to run through crowded town centre wearing a suit and tie. Must have looked a right beaut but smiling to myself the whole way as it's the closest I'll ever get to looking like one of the cops off the tv shows when I was a kid and in my head the tune off the professionals was playing loud and clear.
 

Sitting at my desk knowing that after next Tuesday I will NEVER have to listen to the gimp two rows away from me, who is the proud owner of the most annoying voice in western Europe.

*because I'm leaving. Not because I'm going to smash his vocal chords to pulp with a breeze block.

A nice warm shower

(had baths for years, plus hot tap didnt work in old house so had to scoop water out of sink to fill bath. Pain in the Arse to do)
