I think we just know he's not a championship player mate, so that alone makes him a better option than McCarthy. Also how many people knew about Mirallas? Very few, but in all honesty, players who play for clubs in the CL are generally quite good.

Just because a player gets relegated with a club doesnt make him a championship player.

he done a job on numerous occasions in the prem.

McCarthy is prem quality and people talking about goal scoring and assists dont seem to know what a DM is meant to do on the pitch!

Roy keane scored 2, maybe 3 a season if you were lucky, won the ball and gave it to scholes. Roy Keane wasnt a creative player or a goalscoring player but he was immense at what he done. Im not saying McCarthy is the next Roy Keane what im saying is it laughable that people on here dont think he is worth more than £10M because he doesnt set up or score goals

I really don't like this sort of attitude and I want you to know that. Porto are a pretty big club. It's just as easy to follow them and their players as it is Barcelona. It's all about the choices you make. Some folk aren't interested in watching Messi cream people every week so they'll watch something else. Porto usually play around the same time Barca kick off...

But of course, nobody will know anything about him because he plays outside of England and this is an Everton forum. Anyone who claims otherwise is a liar.
