Exciting times so far. Fernando sounds like genuine quality to replace Felli.

Everywhere is stating that any McCarthy deal does not depend on Felli sale... So we have more money than first thought? Surely not? I just get that feeling that we have something up our sleeve. It's Everton though. I'm just hoping i'm right.

...if none of this is dependent on Fellaini, why do we leave things to the last minute.

Looks like it could very well be McCarthy and Fernando if Fellaini goes. If the McCarthy deal really is entirely seperate from Fellaini deal then we should have the money to get someone else in as well with the money left over after paying for fernando - Ince? Martins Indi? Astori? Ideally ship Heitinga out as well

Or sell Vic and put it towards a forward?

Will be so disappointed if/when Fellaini goes and we end up with just McCarthy as a direct replacement for £15m with left over money unspent

No one has said Fernando has signed, but simply we are in talks and that we're getting a work permit just in case. Just because Porto have said that, doesnt mean a thing.

It's be more Everton for it to be approved but only for the player & his club to deny that any deal has been done....
