Being Irish I am generally a supporter of any Irish sports team or person or indeed anybody or thing in green. However this guy is the complete opposite to what I imagine a sportsman to be. I have no difficulty with a person being confident, I accept that you would need to be confident in your ability to compete in his sport but surely you don’t have to be a di*khead.
Usually in sports that I have no interest in I couldn’t care less who wins unless there is a Irish dimension,I have absolutely no interest in McGergor’s sport and while he is Irish the man is so repugnant that it pleases me when he is beaten.

Imagine Connors Mrs either sat in the crowd or at home having to listen to him go on about messaging another mans wife. I hope Poirier goes through with his wish for a 4th but smashes his head in in the street so McGregor doesn’t earn a penny from it the rat

The coke head bellend was getting his head punched in before his leg broke, he's just a joke now but the UFC will still give him a title fight even though he hasn't won a fight in how long just because he brings the audience, he'll end up fighting that youtuber soon and I think that's the only time I'd be hoping the youtuber wins

I'd hope for a double KO like the end of Rocky III

McGregor is interesting in that even in his 'prime' he wasn't much of a grappler. In the UFC, his limitations would usually be punished, but where he was elite was his intimidation factor. Like a UFC Tyson in many ways.

That aura has now long gone. No one fears him. They know you just avoid his left, take him down, kick his leading leg to death or just take him to later rounds.

And like Tyson, he has a record/belt haul that suggests he's one of the best of all time, but has done it without really ever being on pure ability one of the best of all time.

Good on him though - he has made millions through one punch knockout power and the gift of the gab. He's an arse, but whatever, loads of people are.
