Mo Salah appreciation thread

no chance. Hazard was only really elite for a few seasons. Salah has been consistently one of the best attackers in the world for 8 odd years now.
Sad, but true. On a slightly different note, I was told by a colleague last week that he probably strongly dislikes the 'Mo' aspect of his name.

Apparently, in many parts of Islam, shortening of Mohammed is seen as sacrilege.

Well if your looking at longevity then ye salah has been more consistent.

However prime hazard is a far better player than prime salah, I don't think that can be denied?

Hazard was the best player in the prem for about 3 of the seasons he was here, I don't think salah has ever been the best player in the prem, he's just a very good scorer ( I do think salah is unbelievable btw, just not as good as hazard who was magic)

Yeah i agree just because you done it longer dosent make you better

ronalindho v zlatan for example

He's a world class player and will rightly be remembered as a hero for that lot but he wouldn't make my all time PL best 11.

That depends on all sorts though like formations and two similar kind of players in the same team. An example is trying to get Bergkamp and Cantona in the same first eleven.

Is he even the best African player ever?

Eto'o surely?

I can't believe the accolades he's getting here. Just a slotter...and about a quarter of them are from the spot.

What next, Harry Kane - GOAT?
