IIRC, Dan got quoted at something daft like £50k for a custom app, and it would have been about as useful as a QR code would be.

Well he could just install the plugin. There are a few available, and tablets and smart phones probably amount to a fair amount of his traffic.

Also, whenever i go to the Everton Forum on my iPhone it takes me to the desktop site, and it only goes to mobile mode when i actually click a thread. Happens no matter what i do.

On the home page click on the little box with the arrow coming out of it on the browser
Then there is an option for 'add to homepage'

I know nothing about Blackberry's but I've got an app called Tunein and you can listen to pretty much anything on that, including the abomination that is Talksport.

Yeah, but with Android they'd have to have 50,000 different version of the app to match all the different versions of Android phones and out of date OS builds they have out there. Probably adds up to 50k then
