Transfer Rumour Mohammed Kudus

Wonder how Frank feels about Kudus failing to show for his current club after his comments on not tolerating such an action from his own player, and knowing that Gordon wouldn't behave in a such a way based on his character.
Different situations really, Gordon is one of our most important players and Kudus barely gets a game for them. Also in a way it’s the fault of Ajax to begin with because they’ve shown multiple times this window that they’d buckle to player pressure, if the player wants to go and knows it works they’ll do it.

I don't see it happening either. Kudus failing to show up for training is not the type of character we require in our dressing room.
Some transfers happen, a lot don't. He can always perform well and get another move in January.

I understand his frustration with his parent club but will he get the minutes he craves with us? He is a number 10/CAM right?

Very good point as Frank is looking to get good characters into the squad

Everything I've read or heard about this guy, he's not a bad character, seems the opposite in fact.

Context is everything on something like this, it appears like Ajax green lit a move, changed their mind at an advanced stage when United came in for Antony who went on strike to force a move - thus costing Kudus his own one, then they still hardly play him and on top bring in more players ahead of him for a starting spot.

I'd say he's a doormat and the wrong type of character if he bends over and takes that from the club.

He wants the move so he can play footy - don't think Lampards gonna see that in any way as a bad trait

If , as you say , he wants the move to play football - where do you see him playing ?

For me he's a squad player and something a bit different off the bench if we are chasing a game.

Not sure he wouldn't get more minutes at Ajaz with all their departures.

If he comes it's for the money.

He's getting 5-6 minutes a game at Ajax mate, and that was with Antony gone and before they brought in yesterday Ocampo from Seville who plays the same positions.

I'd see him being a cover option up front or dropped off the cf, and in rotation in cm mate as we'll be switching to three in their.

Garner, Gueye, Iwobi, Onana, Kudos. All of them bringing something different

…you should watch the YouTube vid of his comeback from serious injury. Seems a good sort, football & family really matter to him.

The reports I read suggested he turned up for training but his head wasn’t in the right place with all of the turmoil. We really don’t know what has been promised to him in recent weeks and whether his club have let him down. Let’s not forget, this was being reported as a done deal by reliable sources.

He's one I really want mate, brings something we lack badly to the midfield
