to be honest i'd say that's massive. we want clubs respecting us and happy to deal with us. this was an ambitious signing am buzzing we have been able to pull it off. The fact we have been arguing about a release clause and there isn't one included shows just how good brands is.

Yep assuming all of that is confirmed it's good work, irrespective of whether the signing ends up being a success it's good for long term relations.

massive statement if we get this done, sky won't view it the same as they viewed robinho, but it is really up there.

I'm excited too but it's not remotely similar to the Robinho deal.

Robinho had made 100 La Liga appearances, won two league titles & a Copa America, played at a World Cup and won a Golden Boot at the Copa before he moved to City aged 24.

Kean may well achieve something similar by 24 but he's only 19. It's exactly the signing we should be looking to make. Let's hope it's £40m well spent!

Everton have agreed a transfer fee of £27.5m, potentially rising to £36.6m with Juventus for striker Moise Kean, according to Sky in Italy.
The 19-year old Italian international could earn around £52k per week, with a medical possible as early as tomorrow.
