To be fair, its not about people not liking what they dont want to hear, it's about people not liking what they know to be complete and utter codswallop. It is widely known from very reliable sources since a few days ago that there is no buy back clause. The only ones who are still saying that there is are the likes of Sky (who tbh are about the most unreliable source out there) and WUM's.

I really don’t like get carried away cos it’s the hope that kills you but given the way we finished last season if we could’ve had the same team but added in Zaha and Kean then we’d be in great shape.

Gueye is a loss but Gbamin and Delph will hopefully lead to improvements in our midfield rather than it being poorer.

I know but I just find it hard not to get excited given how strongly we finished last season and how were are/have strengthened the squad. I feel by Friday morning we are going to be looking at one of the most exciting squads we've seen at goodison for a long time and with the teams above us looking shakey it could be a very good season for the blues.
