Surely thats too big of a fee to turn down for a player who isnt first choice and has 12 months left on his contract. We should offer them first refusal on him if we come to sell him down the line, that may help

Dangerous game they are playing given his contract. Unless another club like Ajax come in, offer a smaller fee but a buyback then its going to be difficult. Even if Ajax do come in, the wages we can offer may just turn his head.
