His agent is a complete shaft of a man. We'll be seen as a pedestal for his client (Kean) for a future move after playing regularly for a season or two with us, much like Lukaku.

What we must ask ourselves is do we want to go through all that again?
For 60mil profit yea! With Brand's model of buying young and selling high we shouldn't get too attached to the young talent unless we somehow break the top4 and become CL regulars, until then we gotta enjoy the ride... As long as he doesn't mouth off at every international break and point at his shoes every 30seconds I'll be very happy

I do think the model might be a bit different here given we can actually pay players enough and offer them a top league where PSV had no real choice but to sell as players weren't staying long term. I don't think we will he eagerly shipping our best players out.

That's true to an extent. The fact remains though that unless we become CL regulars then other clubs will have more pull than us such as the Lukaku situation, player power and all that. Until we can convince the best to stay then we may have to accept losing players as they develop. The wedge of profit will help!

I only think it will be like that for a couple of years, once we hopefully start challenging for the champions league places, then it will stop, obviously there will still be the exception. If a ridiculous bid comes in or Barca/Madrid want one of our players.

But it definitely can’t be selling our best player/players every summer, we will never get anywhere

I like Kean and LOVE his potential, but think Juventus would be mad to sell. Just can't see this happen.

Similar to Lukaku and Chelsea they may have no choice. The lad wants to play and if they can't guarantee that, and they can't because Ronaldo isn't taking games off for him, he will leave. One year on his contract too so this is kind of it. Sell or he walks if he wants. He has a ton of leverage to get something done if he wants to.
