If the Buy Back clause isn't close to double the transfer price (like Mina's is) than tell them to take a walk.

Everton are assuming all the risk, for very little reward. Would rather bring in a short term veteran striker than stall DCL's growth, if all we stand to make is like 10M profit if Kean does well.

Yes if its not realistic then its a glorified loan. We take the risk as you have said, then if he's crap they have made £££, if he turns into a superstar they pay us £7-8mill for the privilage of developing him.

Thats fine when like Geri, its only a £8-9mill outlay, but to spend €40mill is a whole different situation.

If they lowered the initial fee then a lot of clubs would be willing to risk it, especially frlm a business point of view. But the €40mill fee means there are only so many clubs able to afford him in the first place.

He is at Juventus now, they dont want him, he doesnt want them, why are we getting overly concerned about the buy back clause. We could get burnt buy it but i think its unlikely he will want to go back. They will only want him back if he has been excellent for us, in that case he will get lots of offers from europes elite who will offer him far more money than Juve.

We can name our price to any other club

I would take Kean at 30m with a 60m buyback after 2 years in a heartbeat. By far the most realistic way for us to bring in a top quality striker. If we want to treble up on young talent, we need to be fishing in the Brazilian waters (that we turn into wine)
This may have already been said but Kean is Italian .
I’m not sure he’s ever swam in Brazilian waters

True. Player has to agree to go back if a clause is met. Why would he want to after the way they've treated him. Insert the clause and be done with them.

Game time plus another future transfer (pay day) might give us an advantage, would he be in a better situation at Bayern or Barca than his now at Juve?
I’m sure Barca will have Griezman and Suarez riding the bench to accommodate Kean
And Bayern will have Bobby L ( despite his heat maps and his metrics) riding their bench to accommodate Kean

Everton are set to hold talks with Juventus about potentially signing Moise Kean. Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has travelled to England for talks. Moise Kean is willing to sign for Everton after having conversations with his agent, Mino Raiola. (Source: @DiMarzio)

Comment from an Juve fan living in England i came across on an Italian page... "Good player but overrated , he has a touch of Gervinho but here in England they think they are signing Drogba " hmmm
