I always put add ons, whether the player is good or bad, its just a top line, most add ons are only met if the player is a success or plays a lot, but like for me Rico will always be a 50m player. I doubt we ever pay 50m, but its just the way I do it.

And I suspect its the way the club does it.

Big difference.

Also if the player was sold then it would be over £22mil rather than £27mil as a benchmark...or indeed over £30mil.

We generally don't get to see the add ons, so we have no idea what have or haven't been met.

So for me I always go for the most a player can cost us, if he costs us less, great.
