2020/21 Moise Kean

Id be very happy with Kean going on loan to PSG.

They lost Cavani and Choupo-Moting and he would rotate with Neymar, Icardi and Mbappe.

Should be able to improve rapidly under Tuchel and playing with those 3.

Come back stronger and another level in his development.

We can move Richarlison up top if DCL is out and Gordon comes in for Richarlison...

If Kean leaves we need a striker. You cant go through a season with no back up striker on the bench.

Whilst we have a squad of 31, 32 if Godfrey arrives, we’re still woefully short in some positions. Can’t let Kean go, as ineffective as he’s been, without any striker coming in. At times this season we’ve had no centre backs on the bench, we had no striker on yesterday, quite worrying with our injury luck.

If he's not happy at a team playing this well then I guess there's not much we can do. We won't miss him too much because he hasn't contributed an awful lot, but I do think there's a player in there. Hopefully there's an obligation to buy in the deal or he does well enough for us to recoup the money we paid.

In terms of FFP if we sell Kean next summer then we need around £16-17 million to break even (based on fee don't know how it works inc wages)

So if we got an obligation to buy for £25-30 million we would make a tidy profit on the books on the deal.

Hopefully add sales to Kenny & Bernard next summer + the likes of Walcott, Bolasie, Sandro & Besic out of contract and things look good.

He’s being pushed out I think that’s fairly obvious

Literally the opposite of what Ancelotti said...

Hes homesick so hes going to France?

Made up on this very thread...

He won't play for PSG. Would be a very bad move for all parties.
Baffling move for all parties concerned, unless there's an obligation to buy and Everton can therefore use that money for a similar deal for a replacement, or towards Zaha.

As for Kean, barring a miracle, he'll barely play at PSG.

He'll get loads of games. Neymar, Icardi and Mbappe cant play every match.

They just lost Cavani + Choupo-Moting so he's straight in rotating with the front 3.

Strange deal for us unless there's an obligation to buy which we'd need to be around 50m. No good going to the farmers league, banging in about 20 odd goals and we sell him for only 25m
....not surprised the club want to move him as he’s been largely ineffective. Would hope. any deal includes an obligation to buy.

Surely the idea is he rotates with their superstar forwards and develops for a year under Tuchel.

Goals galore in ligue 1 and champions league experience...

Ready for us next season or a large sale.

...it wouldn’t take much for Ellis Simms to be at least be as effective as Kean, but there was links with Llorente this morning.

Simms would need to get even minutes of game time before anyone knows what hes like in the premier league.

He and Kean may have different pathways to develop...not everyone is amazing at 19 in the premier league.

Is that Llorente who used to play for Swansea/Spurs eggs? He's got to be getting on. Not the most mobile if I remember correctly
He’s like 35 and not getting a call up for Spain for seven years.

Getting Llorente in for a year would just show that Kean is returning at the end of the season.

Not a bad option to have as a backup player able to hold up the ball and score headers.

How does Kean scoring goals in a bum league prepare him for the Prem mate?

By that logic Pepe would be smashing it at Arsenal when he looks bang average.

Think you need to accept the lads long gone and aint coming back pal lol ;)

...that’s the fella, Matey. Probably a jarg rumour especially given his age but Ancelotti apparently likes him.

He's about as mobile as a tug boat and that was 2 years ago lol

Coming off the bench I think he'd be fine if we are looking to close out games and need someone up top to hold it up but I'd be a bit concerned if he needed to start any games.

Shows you how fortunate we are with DCL because he's tall so can compete and hold the ball up, yet mobile enough to make good runs behind the defence and also poach goals inside the box.

That’s the thing, our side is so painfully bloated it’s frustrating.

Sandro, Kean, Bolasie, Bernard and Walcott we high earners.

Besic, Pennington as fringe players we really don’t need.

Loads need to go, but there will be no urgency if they’re picking up a very healthy wage, which they won’t get elsewhere.

By the logic of Neymar, Icardi and Mbappe won't be playing every match, then surely the same goes for DCL so he'd be getting minutes here is he sticks around

If he goes, that'll be him gone for good (loan to buy or outright sale).

Yeh we could shed 10 and not be any worse off but we still have work to do Jan/next Summer for proper depth.
