The flipside to this, we say no to £31m, he comes back and bombs again, and we only get half that in a year or so’s time.

either way best he moves on, clearly didn’t fit the club at minute. Nice to turn a profit but for a scouting operation that apparently looks at all aspects of a player including personality and ‘fit’, has to go down as a bad buy even if we do make a bit of money on him.

He won't end up good at all. If we can somehow get 31 million for him that would be one heck of a result for us. He's very limited technically and that's why he does well against easy bottom half French league opposition but struggles massively in the champions league. If we can get a deal done for him and sign Zaha that will be brilliant and although Zaha would only have 1 or 2 years for us, he could be the difference.
