Yes that was pretty much my experience too. Had a property in Saujon close to the coast on Charente Maritime. Could be very cold in the winter and yes the log burner got s lot of use but some gorgeous weather in March and often very hot , but frequently changeable from May onwards.

His minutes will come down significantly now that Icardi's fit again. Hopefully he's done enough though to convince them want him long-term, you know Mbappe won't be there much longer so they will need a young striker soon.
