Too old

Why do people get so attached to these players? I understand the local lads, but a bloke who probably played about 11 games for us? I don’t get it.
We thought we were getting one of the hottest prospects in Europe in a position in which we badly needed improving. I don’t think it’s that wild for some to cling to the notion that he might come good for us.

Sadly, that notion has passed me by, but I clung to hope longer than most.

Moise Kean was given a great opportunity to play in the Premier League for an ambitious club with a top manager and money spend to improve the squad. If that doesn't motivate the player to fit in and do well at Everton, then there is no point in him being here. Unfortunately, the lad didn't seem to realise (or care) what a great chance it was for him and appeared to do very little to help himself. I only hope that we can get a decent price for him if we decide to sell.

I think the issue is especially with Kean is that he was highly rated and when we got him it was a bit of coup. Hes now gone to a showbiz team and doing ok and everyone is worried he may become that superstar that he was potentially ear marked for and we are deemed to be missing out.

I dont think he wants to come back so I hope he scores another 36 goals and someone pays £80m for him and then he turns into Oumar Niasse.

TBF I think the thing we should ask ourselves is how he could be a regular starter for a team that has Mbappe, Neymar and Icardi and yet not for us, even though we have far fewer options up front.

Young players have to play - we see the success with DCL, he had to be given the same opportunity.
