I watched some of the Lyon V PSG game a couple of nights ago and PSG have a young lad playing on the left that we should be after, he can make anybody look good
I think his name is Mbappe.

I think it's going to end up being another loan, albeit for a decent fee.

Most non-English clubs seem to be on their arses financially, so they're unlikely to commit serious money for a player who isn't going to go straight into their starting XI.
I do not think Brands will go for this ,or player swaps ,unless he gets to pick the players
PSG had their try before you buy ,asking for another loan is taking the proverbial
They know he can score in their league ,they know he can score in Europe
Either pony up what we want or he comes back to Finch Farm
Its not a Turkish jarg outfit we are dealing with its a Mega rich club owned by an Oil state
Same applies to Juve regarding a loan or swap
Either pay up or KOFF

PSG arent in that situation though are they?

I cant see any sense in us agreeing another loan. If theres no interest, he will need to come back and be accommodated.

PSG seem to have been in some form of FFP stand-off since whenever they bought Neymar, so unless it's true that all transfer limitations are going to be suspended in the near future, it's a lot to spend when they've only recently bought Icardi (who seems to be over his injury issues now).

Maybe Juve will decide to spend out to bring him back, but it's usually Italian clubs rinsing the English for transfer fees, not the other way around.

I'll be frank mate, I cant see Juventus spending big at all. Their chairman has recently been bemoaning having to spend big fees, and saying the top cubs should abolish fees. The Italian league is older, slower and more tactical than the others in Europe so rewards older players, which are very cheap now anyway. I really don't see Juventus wanting to plunge a big fee though a creative swap(s) could really work (see Kulasevski, Rabiot or Costa). I don't see Aaron Ramsay coming here, but some of the others, maybe?

As for PSG it's a strange one isn't it? They have mega money though. Maybe if they tie Mbappe down it reduces the need. I think FFP will not be in operation this summer, but they are trying it on. If we want 50m they will be able to pay it, it's a case of if they want to. In fairness, nobody really knows whats happening this summer. The amount of money coming out of the market and the impact on fees, and what will happen with GFP (from abolishment at one end, to another postponement at another). So I think you will see alot of standoffs between clubs where it's hard to value a player.

Everton though, can't really afford to just let the player go on loan again. We have 3 assetts in DCL/Richarlison/Kean and I can't really see a world where 1 of them can't be sold this summer.

There was something a while back about PSG and their summer priority being the renewal of contracts for the likes of Neymar and Mbappe and the possible attempted signing of Messi and that is were their summer spending is focused on. If that's true then i can understand why they would only want another loan tbh.

Yes I can too. It may be, with FFP potentiall being disbanded they just have bigger fish to fry. At no point does it make sense for us to loan him out again though.

This is why I think he'll end up out on loan again.

I don't believe that anyone will meet a high asking price, and he's not going to be a starter here.

Loan him out (for a fee) and his value may further climb? I worry we sell him for x and he then gets sold two years later for 2x and we miss out on a really big profit.

But it’s academic, depends how much we need to raise cash this summer as our salable assets aren’t great

I know it hasn't gone great and he's more than likely moving on but at his age and potential I personally think he'd be worth keeping to save some coin for other areas. Not naïve enough to think he'll want to stay though.
