As ever with us nothing is clear cut.
Personally I'd just like to get as much as possible for him in transfer value but worry that he'd turn into world class within months.

….I’m not in the least bit worried about that, Tommy. I very much doubt he will & it really doesn’t matter as he’s not wanting to be here & has been very ordinary for us.

Move him on, it shouldn’t be difficult to find somebody more effective.

I think ultimately a deal will be done, probably loan with obligation to buy at a future date.
We will get our money back and possibly make a small profit. But, you need two start a bidding war and we seem to be at least one shy.
Talk of huge sums for a player that nobody seems to badly want is just not going to happen.

He is one of the top rated young forwards in Europe, and we all know how difficult they are to find. There will be loads of clubs interested in him. The slight issue is that playing with the likes of Neymar and Mbappe will have turned his head somewhat as will the Parisian life. He'll be sold or in our squad next season in my opinion and I kind of hope it is the latter.

Europe must be struggling for top rated forwards then.
Your classic he's made it type before he's actualy done anything worthy of a paragraph of news.

Seems to play OK for PSG, it's almost as if it is Everton that is the problem

This has been done to death in this thread. Break down his performances at PSG and you'll find he banged in quite a large share against the sides at the bottom of that league. And struggled against the sides near the top.
If he was that good PSG wouldnt be farting around not willing to cough up any money for him. They'd be snapping him up.

To be fair to the lad, before and after the Everton pantomime he has been doing the business.

Was it three managers he had with us in one year?

I wouldnt call it doing the business. Before Everton he'd hardly played a dozen games. And the PSG thing ive posted. That doesnt warrant a doing the business imo.
Im not saying he's crap. I think he could be a good goal poacher. But he's hugely over hyped before he's done anything. But thats the game today. You dont have to do much to be over hyped.

Aye, it's a game of opinions isn't it mate. Hopefully, he bangs a load of goals in for us or a load of money in our bank ;)

According to L'Equipe, PSG must focus on sales now (yet they still want Pogba! )It would be typical "Everton that" if they still managed to sign Kean whilst being in this position.

The Athletic reporting that Everton will not send him out on loan again and that we currently aren't in talks with any clubs over a permanent move.

It is either sale, or reintegrate with the squad.

He is out of Quarantine and free to join the squad at the weekend.

I am not a fan, but just imagine, if we could have him (PSG form), Richarlison and DCL firing along with a new RW and a fit James. Our fortunes could turn quicker than we think...

to be fair, I doubt if PSG give a toss if he is with them or not.

He is our problem now, and a problem is exactly what he is.

Good to know the club aren't messing about with this. Either get your agent to convince PSG to stump up the money or you're coming back, end of.

Lookman was a different situation, we didn't want to sell him and the player sulked over it. Kean though needs to realise that we're not blocking him leaving, if the buying club won't pay the fee it's because they don't really want you lad. Not like they're strapped is it?

Would be up for starting afresh with him if that's how it plays out, clearly talent in there when he's happy to apply himself.
