No. To be fair the footage is rubbish so its hard to tell but for me he just fronts up to him. Happens all the time, the main issue is the play was still ongoing when he did it.Pushes him in the throat doesn't he? Red card if so.
Unless I completely misunderstood what happened toward the end of the game after Iwobi went out, I'm pretty sure this referee gave offside on a goal kick. Absurdity was his specialty tonight. The criticism he's getting for this red is because he's Moise Kean.
It's an absurd red.
Reckon the club will appeal it?
If he's suspended is it cup games only?
Just idiotic.
You can put yourself about but it's how off the ball it is - opposite direction to play - needless - right Infront of the ref.
Wonder if someone had a few quid on him to get a booking..

Genuinely appalling officiating. I just want to forget about this game.Unless I completely misunderstood what happened toward the end of the game after Iwobi went out, I'm pretty sure this referee gave offside on a goal kick. Absurdity was his specialty tonight.
Nowhere on Earth would that situation normally result in a red.
That genuinely happens several times, most matches and ends up with a yellow at worst for both players.
Irrelevant really. The attitude thing is a bit of a lazy one though.
By all means crap over his ability. The "attitude" thing gets thrown around far too much. He is arrogant now too allegedly.
Book him by all means , but that is never a red card.
Interesting take
taking a political term for U.K. / Tory / brexit types and translating it into a term for people not liking a footballers attitude at the club.
I can only guess from this that you aren’t very bright.
