Widely reported we paid €27m with potential to go to €30ish….. he / we won’t have met any of those add on conditions so more like £6m loss. Still not great (assuming PSG didn’t pay any loan fee which seem odd)
My guess is we have paid this year yet and that’s the loan fee. And so the transfer fee is reduced overall. Makes sense for both teams FFP wise.

Bit worried about it being a 2 year loan only turning to an obligation based of performance. Unless they're massively obtainable like playing 5 games a season or scoring 1 goal what if Juve go massively cold on him like we did

It is probably some form of FFP scam - something like he is a loan this year, but next year he will be a purchase arranged the season before so neither would fully count.
It's a two year loan deal, neither club could truly know what their FFP will look like in 24 months time.

I honestly think we're better to move him on than to continue persisting with someone who doesn't want to be at the club. The future fee doesn't bother me either, after the PSG loan fee and two years worth of loan fees from Juve if we're to sell him for 20m you'd imagine we'll be as good as breaking even.

What doesn't sit well with me is the fact he's still technically going to be on our lists in two years time, what if he does he runs into serious injury troubles, something significant happens to Kean off-field, Juve run into some kind of serious financial trouble or in two years time Kean just flat our refuses to join Juve? These of course are all very unlikely and I'd imagine Kean we develop nicely as a player and get back to the standard he performed at previously for Juve or PSG.

However, Juventus are completely protected if any of that transpires. Whereas we could be left with a disgruntled player who doesn't want to be here, could have a significantly lesser value and would only have a year left on his contract. I don't think we'll see him ever play for Everton again but I don't think there could be a worse way for the club to facilitate that happening and this deal.

Being reported a 2 year Loan and obligation to buy based on “certain conditions” total value €20mil.

If that’s true, €20 million euros is embarrassing, really poor. Liverpool got that for Brewster who hadn’t scored a league goal. Brands is really flopping at moving players on and this should be one of the easier assets to realise value for.

Why not keep him this season.
Their is a bit of quality there.
Who are they going to bring in now.
Josh King mk2.
Should have been sale off the books or stay. Simple as.
