Are they nearby? We won't have a car so don't want to travel too farBotanical Gardens and St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal are both fantastic. Definitely recommend visiting Quebec City as well. The Charlevoix region is really nice as well.
Niagara-on—the-lake is a fun day trip if you’re in the Niagara region.
Get yerself some Tim Horton’s
Ah that might be tricky then. You should be able to get to the Botanical Gardens and St. Joseph’s Oratory with a busAre they nearby? We won't have a car so don't want to travel too far
Great advice. My in-laws live in the next village over from St. Jacobs. Actually started our honeymoon at an inn in St. JacobsSpent 6 weeks just outside Toronto many years back.
The family i stayed with had a boat so we spent a day on Lake Ontario, so if that's an option to rent or jump on a boat, i would recommend. When i was doing that the group i was out with spent the day at one of the Indian Reserves near Toronto(I think) and said it was amazing.
Spent the day at Niagra falls and enjoyed that. Did the CN Tower in Toronto too, that's a must do. Spent the day in Ottawa and that was nice to walk around too.
I would recommend getting out to one of the farmers markets i went to St Jacobs in Woolwich.
I travelled all throughout Ontario and enjoyed just stopping in towns and cities and having a walk around. Canadas a great country to visit.
Me and the mrs are flying into Montreal in April, flying out of Toronto 9 days later.
What would be the best way to split time between the cities, and what are the must do things in each? Only thing we know we definitely want to do is Niagara falls.
There are three NHL teams between Toronto and Montreal (the other is in Ottawa). Maple Leafs tickets are horribly expensive and the playoffs begin in April so good luck if you try and see them play. Senators would be the easiest ticket.Visit Quebec City is a must, go and watch a NHL game probably the Maple leafs,
Lots to do and see
Arriving in April. From the very little research I have done, Montreal appears to be like a mini Paris and Toronto a bit more of a generic large city.I live in Toronto mate, when are you coming? Montreal is a much better city for a tourist, would reccomended a weekend at max in Toronto
