Thought he might improve under Silva, but his friendly performances have been pretty woeful.

I don't mind him as a backup, but surely Silva has to be trying to get in a starter CM... or else we are going to be ripped apart all year round.

Hes been first choice in our stronger teams in pre-season, he will play against Wolves and be a regular thereafter. No one has shown any interest and absolutely no rumours of interest.

Silva probably rates him, for some reason a lot of managers seem too. If he plays then we will always have a negative approach to play.

I know we have the worst centre backs in world football, but for some reason this guy is still my biggest worry for this season.

I just can’t be arsed to see him strolling about doing nothing all year. Again.

Fans will turn on him quickly again this season, so Silva won’t play him and then we are stuck with no one else. Badly need a good CM
