Im just waiting for somebody to imply that Beni Averageme could step in.

To push up the table we need a player ready to step in for either Gomes or Gueye. McCarthy isn't creative enough Davies and Baningime not ready. We would definitely need to replace so needs to be sold not loaned out.

I’d take Dowell in that position over Schneiderlin at this point. The guy is a horrible fit

If he leaves he needs replacing, hes not surplus.

If we punt surplus then we can think about investing elsewhere.

But for me hes somebody that would need a like for like replacement.

He’s surplus. He doesn’t even make our bench. Gomes is his replacement.

Edit/ beni averageme can take his place travelling to the game but not getting on the bench.

He was looking decent early in the season, nothing great, just decent, but his attitude is awful and the scouts will know it

Nearly choked on me lunch when they said Lookman cos he played for this new gaffer last season.

There's no doubt Lookman likes playing for this guy, and he'd like starting every game for them.

However, he'd no longer be playing CL footy. And if Everton wouldn't let him go to a German side, no way I see us letting him go to a PL side

I could see a scenario where both Schniederlin and Walcott go there this January.

We will be looking for a starter on the right of the attack. No loans though, we need to recoupe on our outlay.
