Morgan is a prime example for me of a player who reached the top and gave up once he got the big payday

Did well for Southampton, got the big move to United and big wages. It didn’t work out. But based on his previous performance knew he could get a big wage from us. He’s now at a club that has little chance of breaking the top six, and a trophy seems a long way a way. So he’s probably thinking what’s the point? He’s more than happy collecting a huge salary and knows he doesn’t need to do anything.

One of the problems with the increase in money in football is these examples will come all too apparent.

Yeah, I don't think he gives us anything more than what Beni does. Maybe a bit better passer, but much slower and not as good in the tackle.

Gana is a terrific defensive midfielder, need to couple him with more of a box to box player, and sell Morgan.

He has no discipline. He lost challenges on the edge of the other box about half a dozen times earlier. It was utterly moronic play. He was selling himself 80 yards out.
