it's nice to get his wages off the books but this is appalling business

selling a 30 year old for 2 mil it just doesn't seem worth it

i can understand that there was probably no interest in the player and its better to get rid than keep but i have a feeling that if he was a liverpool reject he would have sold for 15 mil + 10 mil on addons

But he’s not a Liverpool reject. He’s an Everton reject who is 30, prone to injury, on HUGE wages over 100k.

Taking a small hit on the transfer fee will be worth freeing up the 100k p/W wage.

Oh and he’s a fraud. I wouldn’t have cared iir he was given away for free.

He has a year left on his contract what do you think he is worth?

aubamayeng is 31 years old and is in the last year of his contract and he would still sell for 30-40 mil

just because someone is in the last year of their contract doesn't mean you only get 0-2 mil for them

i think we could have easily got 5-10 mil for schneiderlin

But Aubamyeng scores goals, lots of goals. He is worth more. Maybe if we had sold him to a Italian club but Morgan probably wanted to go back to France. Personally glad to see him gone his attitude stank as much as he could be useful in one role at times. Plus his wages are gone we can reinvest in a more mobile midfielder which is what we desperately need

i would like to know whether we are still paying some of his wages next year as part of the deal

i don't believe for a second nice could match his wages, i don't even think they could afford 50% of his wages

and i can't see schneiderlin taking a 50% wage cut

Perhaps that’s why the fee is supposedly very low.

Nice are owned by Ineos...look them up. Deep pockets.
