I don't believe he's had a medical or will sign today.

for a Manc, that's quite funny
I don't believe it was authored by a manc.

1) It's hilarious. In a good way. You have to be able to laugh at yourselves sometimes, and I laughed my ass off reading this. It was Chico-esque in parts. Mancs aren't funny and how could they possibly have a sense of humour, living in Manchester?

3) I didn't see any spelling errors. There were some words in there with enough syllables to make any Manc have heart palpitations - no way a manc wrote it.

EDIT: There's massive typo. He wrote "recuperate" when he meant "recoup". I reckon he's an undergrad at somewhere like Loughborough or Nottingham Trent, doing a BA in Sports Journalism.

The man speaks the truth. However the media depiction of Everton being the last bastion of ethical football is a patronising one, and one which would most likely disappear if we started to compete with the big clubs. Even the alleged smugness that he says will arise if we get Schneiderlin performing well again will be within the context of Everton providing a home for someone who wasn't good enough for United.

We really need to get rid of this class and dignity self righteous nonsense, to be holding onto that instead of buying actual footballers to compete ON the pitch really makes me cringe
