Bit sloppy when he came in but that's to be expected after playing like 4 matches in 2 years

Aye, 11 minutes of lg game time this season. Two starts (Europa and Lg Cup respectively) back in Sept.

His match sharpness wasn't there and it took him about 15 mins to get into it.

Coincidently, Barry (who was class) going off and Macca coming on though helped a lot. It was a great sub at the right time.

Snides sat in for Barry and had the game ahead of him and more space and time. It meant he could get his touch, get a feel for the ball, while Macca's energy buzzed around him and put us 5/10 yards further up.

That will do him the world of good getting some minutes plus I know he didn't do much on the ball, but a Saints fan came on here a few days ago and mentioned he blocks the lines to passes so I watched that and he was right, he was just sitting in there and reducing the option for city to find a man and we stifled them from this point on.

Not a priority. We can hang onto 7th place in this pony league season without him, and better and cheaper (and younger) will be available in the summer.

If Everton spend anything remotely like £20M on him we will be getting the reputation in the game (and on the heels of the Bolassie overvaluation) of some soft touch club who cant really find and sign quality themselves but just rely on picking off bog standard players from other PL clubs for a kings ransom.

A signing that would make sense on almost no level.
Anyone else now agree that we shouldn't be "hanging on" to 7th?
