MGP before Fernandes for me. thats how concerned i am about the gaping void on our left midfield, and he has proven for two solid seasons that he has the class and skill to effectivley do that job and cut it with his peers at prem level.

Left wing defo a problem mate od love to see a quality signing wouldnt be against M.G.P. not all that convinced hes worth over about 6 mill though.

My worry would be spending to much on what really is an auxilary position i.e. left wingers rarley win you games!

If we blew our tranfer budget on M.G.P. for like 10 mill then the starting Mid would be

Arteta-----Cahill-------Cars--------M.G.P.

Looks a kittke soft centered to me, well i think Moyes would go for a but more bite. Unless of course you played five across the middle and threw either Ossie, Nev into the mix either or are pretty hot and cold.

For me id love a midfeilder with a decent engine and pace to link up defence and attack i,e a reo cooker, barton, fernandes type compklimented by a decent winger i would have liked Kightley.

Like i said id love a M.G.P. even a Downing but as i said left wingers hardley ever win you games.

But I think he'll be at utd or somewhere in 12 months.
 

I agree with Suits (and the majority here) MGP would be a brilliant addition to the side. Last season wasn't quite up there with his previous, but still good enough I want him here in the starting line-up.

Neiler, I have to say, no single position wins games, but having quality all across the midfield gives us so many more options that make us less predictable. With MGP on the left, Fernandes/Carsley/Cahill in the middle and Arteta on the right, [Poor language removed] can be created from anywhere and end up anywhere. Damn I like this idea.

Somebody start taking a collection!!
 
I hope this saves me from reading MGP in every thread on this board where suits posts :P
