Neiler, I have to say, no single position wins games, but having quality all across the midfield gives us so many more options that make us less predictable. With MGP on the left, Fernandes/Carsley/Cahill in the middle and Arteta on the right, [Poor language removed] can be created from anywhere and end up anywhere. Damn I like this idea.

Agreed Dylan varience is the watchword and i lke the idea of a hreat form all over,

Few probs though
a) We dont know if Fernandes will be with us next season
b) Cars cant go on forever (maybe a season or two)
c) That would mean a five man midfeild (not against that personaly).
 
MGP would be class for us, however, blackburn would never sell their best player so our best bet is downing.... or maybe even fernandes if we cough up the £12m or even swap VDM what u think?
 
hes a very talented player, who i would love to sign, but not sure how much defenseive help he would give. And for a side who could even still have naysmith playin left back, think we would be defensively weak down that side..
 
MGP and Baines would be the best left side in the prem!

Anyways i reckon it'll be Keane and not Hughes in the Manure hotseat comes five years.
 


Uhmm, different positions, totally. AND, I would take MGP over Fernandes any day of the week. Fernandes has potential. He doesn't quite fit our team yet.

MGP is a cracking player with the right mindset, Hughes over at Burn has pre-installed the mindset of a player attacks AND defends.

Also MGP plays up the left where we are weakest and would fulfil a better function for our future.Also, tried and tested prem player.
