Most hated opposition player

Had me worried then had to check
Its no where near a decade its 5 years
But it's STILL five years - where does the time go? It's a sign of age when the years go by so fast. I'll be pushing up daisies before I know at this rate. Just hope and pray I can see a season when we actually win summat again but not holding my breath. I'll have plenty of time to do that, I'm sure!

I think Joey Barton is the most hated player by everyone including his old clubs . Convicted wife beater , political dunce and a Teemu Souness .

That his wife referred to him throughout her testimony as “Joseph” struck me as odd, one shudders at what he must be like at home given everything known about him losing it every now and then.

To be honest I honestly can't say I hate Carragher, he was an average player, who wasn't even liked by RS. He's an utterly bizarre individual, he often refers to Everton, as we or us. I hate nearly all pundits now, Richards, Redknapp, Strurridge, Ferdinand, both Neville brothers, Linekar, Osman, Alex Scott, Keane, Sutton, Merson, Savage and Warnock. Whole point of punditry was to point out things we as fans couldn't see, with regards to tactical stuff. Now it's just boring clickbait, or people trying to engage in bantz that isn't even funny. Danny Murphy is another Bellend, luckily Jenas is gone, another talentless helmet.
Maybe not needed because we are more tactically aware these days due to the blanket coverage that we have these days. Maybe that is why they annoy us.

When I was a lad the only time we ever saw a live game on TV was the Cup Final. When I was in 6th form I would book Cup Final day off from my Saturday job and make a day of it.

For many reasons the Cup has lost its allure but I think that the above has been a massive factor.

I never hated gerrard tbh. He was one genuine player who I wished we had 50% of in our side. Maybe his lifestyle and music choices could be better but on the pitch. Nobody was willing to win a game more than him.

Music preferences are very personal so I don't tend to judge on that basis and I don't know a lot about his lifestyle. However, I used to hate him for his blatant cheating.

Gerrard. The sneering arrogance and his pure hatred for Everton was something else. That generation with Carragher Fowler was absolutely obsessed with us and to this day can’t seem to let it go. One of the most overrated players in the prem. spoken about like an all time great when in reality he turned up for about 10 games a season, a few cup finals, and zero international games. Belongs at the same level as a Darren Fletcher except he actually won a few league titles. Carrick was a miles better player than he was but if you don’t play for Liverpool you don’t have the media bigging you up every second of the day.
100% Gerrard.... the utter melt....
