Most hated opposition player

In chronological order...
Sourness
Mcmahon
Rush
Aldridge
Gerrard
Barmby
Collina (lol)
Ronaldo
Ayew
I know there is a few missing years in between but they were my whiskey garries and Charlie days unfortunately...
Can't remember much about them...
Defeated them now thankfully 😀

….hate is a strong word and one I wouldn’t use for any footballer, but I was there when Dave McKay bent Jimmy Husband in half. Also, the Leeds side of 69/70 era wouldn’t be invited to your birthday party.

It can be hit and miss but the Upshot podcast (on Dennis Wise) has some stuff about Jones, apparently he (and Fashanu) only bullied people who wouldn’t be able to get him back properly.

Also in tales from podcasts, Clough smashed his ghetto blaster before a game once and he did nothing.
Justin Fashanu. Thug. What he did to Gary Mabbutt was criminal. But he got off at court due to "expert testimony " from FA chief whose name I've thankfully forgotten.

And Vinny Jones, another faux hard man. Again, what he did to Gary Stevens (Spurs - video is a horror) was criminal. Totally lost his bottle though in 1993 at our place.

Two total cowards.

Just to clear up, it was John Fashanu that was the absolute thug. Justin wasn't really anything like his [Poor language removed] younger brother. Plus he scored that epic Goal of the Season Vs Liverpool so I always thought he was alright

That Cucurella does my head in with that stupid mop on his head flaring about as he dives and throws himself to the floor. Looks like one of those small angry poodles when he tries to give it large
I was ridiculed in the Minor things that make you fume thread for being annoyed by footballers with long curly hair. That rat David Luiz fits in the same category. Glad I'm not alone with this 🤝
