Bands like The Beatles, Aerosmith, Nirvana, etc all have a few good songs but aren't some generational talents to me.

Nirvana only just flipped the entire music industry on it's head in 1991. Perhaps if Cobain hadn't taken his life after their second major label record you'd have a different view.

Just because a band has a few bangers doesn’t mean they can’t be overrated.

I love some Oasis tracks but the hype they get is well over the top for me. Plus the “fans” that only know Wonderwall make me want to die.

Their music is brilliant. Kurt being murdered by his spouse was always going to draw a lot of attention, but they’d already produced some very good songs.
