Not really into rap that much, more of a rocker but really agree with the Tupac shout. Over rated by loads of white boiz. Biggie Smalls was far better musically in terms of how he timed his vocals to tracks etc and rumour is most of it was on the spot off the top of his head. If you think about it most of Tupacs good songs featured another good rapper i.e Snoop, Dre etc.

The Beach Boys are my over rated pick overall though

It's not just white boys that love Pac. He's an icon all over the world.

The thing with Pac is he wasn't the most lyrical, he didn't have the best flow, he put out an awful lot of subpar music and gave the mic to far too many weed carriers. Big Syke, FFS. He was still decent on the mic though, his best stuff carries real emotion, and when he hits the spot there are few to match him. He was a fine character actor as well.

Still overrated though.

If it was so easy to write "All the small things", "What's my age again?", "Always" etc, etc...

Then everyone would be doing it, theres a skill in creating brilliant melodies and vocal lines.

Also Travis Barker mate. The mans ridiculous and way too good a musician for a pop punk band.

I should probably stay out of this. That kind of overproduced, clean MTV pop punk is probably my least favourite type of music there is.

Decent couple of albums they did. Or maybe just the one. Sabbath met 80s metal, and it wasnt too shabby.

This is why I'm finding hard to think of a band myself, it's too based on taste. I was gonna say the Beatles but that's purely because I dont like them. However I understand why they're so revered and how much they've given to the music that I do love. So I cant pick them.

Absolutely. That's what makes it so much fun. Music is completely subjective and personal.

If you hate the Beatles, say the Beatles and "come at me" lol

Hes regularly seen in various pubs in town and always best avoided. As is the aggresive buffoon from the zutons.

Randy Rhoads was the shredder of all shredders - killed at just 25 yo in a ridiculous plane crash.
