We would like to apologise for the issues you experienced on evertontv during today's live stream of the Motherwell pre-season friendly.
A key system failure by the Club's streaming partner resulted in the buffering difficulties you experienced.
The Club is conducting a thorough investigation into the system failure by the streaming partner and can confirm that you will receive a full refund for today's game (£3.99).
Everton does not expect or accept service levels of this standard and as a loyal fan you certainly deserve better than what you received today. The streaming partner is one of the leaders in the field and has worked with a number of other Premier League clubs and sporting bodies across Europe. However, today the service provided by that partner was unacceptable.
The Club sets incredibly high standards and expects to deliver the best possible service at all levels. What you experienced today on evertontv fell below those standards and Everton apologies wholeheartedly for that unacceptable level of service.
The system failure was completely separate to the issue that affected some users during Thursday's live Dundee United fixture.
It has been a hugely frustrating three days for the Club but the biggest disappointment is that a section of our fanbase has received a sub-standard offering because of failings by some of our partners.
