I’m going for Dembele.

Difficult season this year for him. Only three goals.
Second option for Lyon after Lacazette. Lacazette didn't set the world on fire at Arsenal and yet scored 27 this season. The french league isn't all that.

Dembele is mobile and a decent finisher. He is a better option than Maupay. The knock on him is he does not necessarily live and breathe football, but he is not an Alli. As others have said, yes if wage not exorbitant and some performance elements in the contract.

3 in 28 in France and couldnt get a game. Dont think im gambling our meagre budget paying his wages and expecting him to suddenly turn into a goal machine in an average team in a much harder league for strikers. Pass.

His overall record is 56 in 129, not to be sniffed at. Cant pretend I’ve seen him outside of YouTube but on a free and on less than stupid wages he’d be worth a punt. Willing to bet there’s a team that’ll chuck him £100k p/w though and it shouldn’t be us.
