It's better to breathe through your nose, that's why we have nose hairs to collect the dust & dirt.

Breathe through your mouth & there is no filter.

Furthermore, it means you then have the pleasure of picking your nose - not that I would do such a thing, but I see plenty of drivers doing it.

The Liverpool accent was supposed to have been heavily influenced by the amount of pollution in the city - meaning we all sounded as if we had a permanent cold. A blend of 'Irish, Welsh and catarrh'. Using this theory I reckon most natives of Liverpool are mouth breathers

Do you think it makes that much different? I think i breathe out of mouth and nose at diff times, if am in gym and cant catch breath mouth seems easier!

As a yoga practitioner for over 30 years we are taught to only breathe through your nose
Bloody hard to do that if you are running or playing competitive sport.
