Moyes as interim manager

I think this is Kenwrights plan to be honest. Wait for a couple of hammering and the narrative will change. It may not be a move to open support, but people may just accept and stop protesting against such an appointment.

Kenwright isn’t liked as it is he’s making things worse if he does that, and he has 5% stake he needs to be quiet

When we look back, I don't think Moyes is poor in Man Utd and West Ham, the overall win percentage of Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho are similar (5x%). Moyes obtained first 8 in European league. I also think he did quite good in West Ham, he lead a team in relegation zone without spirit, limited healthy players, and finally got 13th rank at last.

He was ham-fisted from the outset at Man Utd. He binned a winning back room staff and alienated the rest of the club for no good reason.

I don’t really need to see percentages to know what happened while he was at Man Utd which led to his ultimate dismissal. He took over the league Champions and turned them into the laughing stock of the planet.

Then there’s his dismissal at Real Sociedad.

Then there’s his relegation with Sunderland.

Didn’t really pay much attention to his time at West Ham but his record reads he still lost more games than he’d won and he did such a great job they decided to look elsewhere when his contract expired.

It’s been a good 18 months now and wouldn’t you have thought being a top manager and all he’d have found himself a new club in that space of time? Even Mark Hughes doesn’t have to wait that long.

It's funny really. Take Eddie Howe, I'm surprised he hasn't considered it. Bournemouth are barely above us in the league. There's a great opportunity, with a moderate uptake in form to move us from 17th to 8th or so and proclaim yourself as a saviour and buy yourself a fair bit of time. I'm surprised more people haven't seen it.

Barring a hammering against Liverpool I think Silva will get the Chelsea game. A defeat against Chelsea though will see Moyes come in.
I think that Eddie Howe is the manager they really want at Everton.
After the Silva debacle with Watford I would guess that no word will leak out from our side of who we are talking to, but if Eddie Howe is interested it may fall to him to leak to the press or Eddie Howe will tell us he is happy to stay at Bournemouth or tell them he wants to move.

Either way, I have no doubt that we are talking to somebody about the job.

You say multiple, ive only seen The Mirror pushing it.

For me they are not a trustworthy news outlet.

Oh well if it's trustworthy news outlets you're after... Er I haven't got any, but there's other rags that have run with it:

I think that is a bit harsh on Moyes . Sir Alex had dragged a failing team over the line, I think almost anybody else was going to fail after he left, but Moyes just could not see that... and paid the price.

Failing your way out of the champions league with the money and attraction of that club though is inexcusable.

Well, the Mail and the Bournemouth Echo use the Mirror as its source and The Star is The Star.

You say somebody has put the story out there, with those sources, I can assure you it wasnt Everton.

Good times.

I just don't see the Moyes thing tbh. He will want a long term contract which i doubt is what Mosh or Brands want. Even if he did get one i find it hard to see him working under a DoF setup, recruitment was always his strong point. Also it has been fairly widespread in the media this week that Moyes is not really wanted back by the fans (he is said to have been surprised by this) and i don't see him coming to somewhere where he is not really wanted.
