No where near the club? Why is that? Cause he made a few mistakes as a player, and perhaps played on a little too long. Neville was one of the most proffesional members of our squad and his impact should not be downplayed. He is massively respected by all the players, is a student of the game and is as dedicated as anybody else in the sport. It infuriates me that people seem to throw a level of hatred his way based purely on 'on field' mistakes. Everton would do well to keep him within the club.

No way he should be our manager though. He needs to gain a lot more experience first.

Not only how horrible it is that hes trying to get the job, I dont recall anybody saying Everton were going to be in the bottom half every season.

If he got dreams of being the future Man u manager then he needs to find himself a lower club to manage and work his way up, that the best route for him.

We'd only be training neville up for utd when Moyes is sacked or retires I guess anyhow
